About the Socata TBM-850

The TBM 850, an upgrade to the TBM 700, is one of the fastest single-engine turboprops in the world. This aircraft has jet-like speeds (up to 320 KTAS) and highly efficient operating costs. It is powered by an 850 shp Pratt & Whitney PT6A-66D engine, but is limited to 700 shp for takeoff. It features a pressurized cabin, retractable gear, and advanced avionics (G1000 in later models), making it an attractive aircraft for corporate and private owners seeking speed, comfort, and long range for up to six people.
