Choose My Plane Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Choose My Plane (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App.

2. User Accounts

Users may create accounts to access certain features, including planned paid features such as the AI-assisted Mission Profiling tool. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You may delete your account at any time from within the App.

3. Payments and Subscriptions

Some features may require payment or a subscription, which will be processed through a third-party provider (such as Stripe). All payment terms and billing are subject to the terms and conditions of the payment provider. Choose My Plane does not store payment information.

4. User-Generated Content

Currently, users cannot upload or submit content. If this changes,  Choose My Plane reserves the right to moderate, remove, or restrict any user-generated content that is inappropriate, unlawful, or violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on Choose My Plane, including aircraft specifications and performance data, is curated from public sources or provided by manufacturers. Users may share data from the App with proper attribution but may not represent the information as their own. Unauthorized copying, redistribution, or commercial use without permission is prohibited.

6. Prohibited Conduct

  • Scraping, harvesting, or automated extraction of data
  • Using bots or automated systems to access the App
  • Reverse engineering or attempting to derive source code
  • Commercial use of the App or its data without explicit permission
  • Any activity that violates applicable law or these Terms

7. Disclaimers

All information provided by Choose My Plane is for informational purposes only and is not intended for operational or flight planning. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of any data. Use of the App and its content is at your own risk.

8. Third-Party Links

The App may include curated links to third-party content (e.g., YouTube videos, external data sources). Choose My Plane is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked third-party sites. You access such sites at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Choose My Plane and its affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App or its content.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion, without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
