The world’s first aircraft manufacturer, based in Belfast. Best known for the Shorts 330 and 360 regional turboprops (nicknamed ‘The Shed’ for their boxy design) and the C-23 Sherpa military transport. The company is now a major aerostructures hub, producing wings and fuselages for Boeing and Airbus.
