The Eclipse Aviation Corporation was a manufacturer of very light jets (VLJs) based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The company was founded in 1998 by Vern Raburn and was known for developing the Eclipse 500 VLJ, which was certified in 2006 and first delivered in 2007.
